Early Returns - There is no refund for early returns.

Flight Information - For airport pick-up, it is essential that Zanzibar Car Hire  receives the correct flight number and arrival time. You can do this either online or by phone. If this information is not available at the time of booking, please ensure that you inform us at least 7 days prior to your departure, via email or phone.Zanzibar Car Hire accepts no responsibility for a failed rental due to late or improper supply of this information. Failure to supply this information also alleviates the responsibility of Zanzibar Car Hire LTD.

Parking Tickets and Traffic Violations - You are responsible for the cost of any parking infringements and other penalties incurred during your contract period. The car supplier or Zanzibar Car Hire LTD will charge your credit card for any parking tickets and or traffic violations. You are also subject to pay administrative fees.

Fuel Policy - All vehicles are empty you have to fill the tank upon rental and must be returned with the same status no we done refund you if you return our vehicle with fuel. 

Breakdown Coverage   - 24hrs roadside assistance is included in the rates. Replacement vehicles may not be provided by the rental supplier, depending on the nature of the breakdown.

Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made within the first 10 days of the date of reservation are free of charge. Cancellations made after the first 5 days of the date of reservation and at least 48 hours prior to the pick-up date are subject to an administration fee of 25.00 GBP. Any cancellations made within 48 hours of the pick-up date are subject to pay a maximum charge equal to 3 days of rental. If your rental is for 3 days or less, you will be charged the 15% of amount of the rental. Any rental duration that is greater than 3 days will only be charged.

The hirer and/or authorized driver must have held a full and valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years and that licence must bear no current endorsements during the last two years. International drivers licence required or your national drivers license to be endorsed for an extra $10.- USD.

The hirer and/or authorized driver must also be in possession of a proper means of identification other than a driver's licence.

The vehicles must be locked when unattended. The hirer is responsible for the security of the vehicle.

It's your responsibility to make sure the car is parked safely in hotels car parks under watchmen during the night. Most places provide watchmen and car parks.

Drivers working hours are from 07.00 to 18.00 hrs. There is overtime charge of US$ 3 per hour after 18.00 hrs

In the case of extra time the renter will have to pay 8 US$ per hour.

The vehicle must be driven by the renter or authorized driver not other person.

The vehicle is not allowed to be driven in the sea shore.

The responsibility and security of the vehicle will be upon the renter for the period of the contract.

If the renter breaks the contract He/She will be required to pay 50% of the agreed total cost.

The company can break the contract at any time if it is proved that, the renter is not keeping the vehicle in good condition such as careless driving and other intentional damage.

The Passport or 100US$ (Refundable) will be taken by the company for all contract period as a Security.

Any damage caused by carelessness the renter will compensate accordingly.

Petrol and driving permit are not included in the price.

Mechanical failure is our responsibility.
